What should I do after my Reiki Session?

You may feel a bit thirst after your Reiki session. Make sure to drink water and stay hydrated for the next few days. Get something to eat afterwards to ground down your energy more. Sometimes the healing energies are very potent and this can be challenging for some on an empty stomach.

One of the best things a person can do after a session is to relax and not undergo any stressful situations. The healing energies will continue to work and many times the real magic happens after your session. Be at peace and enjoy the energy. You may choose to meditate or do yoga or take a walk-in nature, or just go to sleep.

Journal your experience while it is fresh in your memory. Many times, clients will have a repressed memory come up to be release and this can have a very profound effect.
